### Emoz Privacy Policy

Emoz ("the app") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what the app collects, how it is used, and when it is deleted.

#### 1. What we collect

The app does **not** collect contacts, location, or advertising identifiers. Only photos you explicitly pick are uploaded; the app does not read your photo library.

Settings such as language, theme, and onboarding state are stored **on your device only** and are never sent to a server.

#### 2. How it is used

- To store your records and show them back to you

- To display posts you marked public in the Square feed

- To show emoji reactions you received in Activity

- To respond to harmful content through reports and blocks

- To send notifications if you enabled them

- To diagnose and fix crashes

We do **not** sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

#### 3. Processors

The app uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Crashlytics). The data above is stored and processed on Firebase infrastructure under Google's privacy policy. Push notifications are delivered through Expo's notification service.

#### 4. What becomes public

**Posts you mark as public are visible to any signed-in user of the app**, including the background photo, emoji layout, your nickname, and your avatar. Private posts are visible only to you.

Your nickname and avatar may also be visible to other users through reactions and moderation. **Do not put your real name or contact details in your nickname.**

#### 5. Retention and deletion

The app has **no automatic expiry policy.** Your data is kept until you delete it.

- **Deleting a post** also deletes its uploaded background photo and the reactions on it.

- **Deleting your account** removes your profile, all posts and photos, your avatar image, the reactions you gave and received, and your nickname registration. You can do this yourself in Profile → Settings → Delete account. It cannot be undone.

**Exception — reports.** Reports you submit (the reported target, the reason, and your identifier as the reporter) are **retained even after you delete your account.** This prevents evading enforcement by reporting and then deleting the account, and lets us identify repeat violations. Reports are not visible anywhere in the app; only the operator can review them.

#### 6. Handling harmful content

Every post in Square can be reported, and any user can be blocked. A reported post disappears from your feed immediately.

Submitted reports are reviewed by the operator and acted on **within 24 hours.** Confirmed violations are unpublished or removed, and repeat offenders may lose access.

#### 7. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (under 14 in the Republic of Korea) and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we delete it promptly.

#### 8. Your rights

You may view, correct, or delete your information at any time — edit it in Profile → Edit profile, or delete everything in Settings → Delete account. For anything else, contact us below.

#### 9. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the updated text and revision date on this page.
