Terms of Service

Welcome to Emoz. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Emoz mobile application ("App") and any related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Emoz ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Emoz. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

  • Anonymous Access: You may use the App without a social login. In this case, your data is tied to your device. If you uninstall the App or lose your device without linking a social account (Google/Apple), your data may be permanently lost.

  • Account Linking: To ensure permanent data storage and access across devices, we recommend linking your account to a social provider via Firebase Authentication.

  • Data Deletion Policy: Accounts that remain inactive (no login or activity) for more than one (1) year may have their data (posts, emojis, profile info) automatically deleted from our servers to optimize system resources.

4. User Content

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of the photos and emoji combinations you create ("User Content").

  • License: By posting User Content on Emoz (especially when set to 'Public'), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.

  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must not upload photos that infringe on third-party rights or violate any laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content.

  • Impersonate any person or entity.

  • Use the App for any unauthorized commercial purposes.

  • Attempt to interfere with the proper working of the App (e.g., hacking, reverse engineering).

6. Advertising (AdMob)

Emoz is supported by advertising. By using the App, you agree that we may serve advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on your usage data, subject to your consent and our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Emoz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Attendance Tracker - privacy policy
